Is it safe?

Yes. Our partner clinics welcome thousands of international patients each year and have everything in place to make your experience as enjoyable as possible. Within the clinic you will be cared for by English-speaking staff as well as having all consultations conducted in English, and post-surgery will only be signed-off for travel back to the UK once both you and your surgeon are happy and comfortable with how your recovery is progressing. In addition, you also have the option of door to door transfers to and from airport, hotel and clinic by a member of the clinical support team.

Do I have to pay for a consultation?

Where can I see your prices?

Guide prices are available on each individual treatment page, however, due to each procedure being 100% tailored to your specific requirements, an exact price can only be quoted following your initial consultation with Lisa.

Will I pay more if I book through Redhouse Medical Tourism compared to booking direct with the clinic?

No! In fact, due to the longstanding relationship with our partner clinics, we are often able to negotiate for you a lower cost for the procedure. In addition, by arranging your treatment through Redhouse Medical Tourism you have the security and ease of knowing every element of the process is handled by an experienced team who will continue to support you well beyond your recovery.

Do I have to pay a deposit?

Yes. In order to secure your appointment for surgery, the clinic will require a small deposit (negotiable in size, but usually no more than 10% of the full treatment cost). The balance is then due 7 days before your surgery date. All payments will be made directly from you to your destination clinic via bank transfer or credit card.

Who makes my travel arrangements?

Clients are responsible for booking their own flights, however we have a lot of experience with this and are happy to offer advice in order to help you secure the best deal. In general, flights cost around £200 return. Included in your treatment cost are standard transfers between the airport, hotel and clinic. We are also able to arrange VIP transfers for you during your stay at an additional cost. If you wish, this can be discussed during your consultation with Lisa.

Who will book my hotel?

This is the client’s responsibility, though we will provide you with a list of hospital-friendly hotels and/or apartments during your consultation. On average, a double en-suite room in a three star hotel in Istanbul costs from £40 to £70, and a four star from £75 to £110.

Can I take someone with me?

Yes. Your guest will be able to accompany you for the entirety of your trip, only excluding during your procedure and immediate after-care. You will be responsible for arranging their flights and accommodation.

Do you offer a chaperone service?

Yes. Subject to a mutually agreeable date, Lisa can accompany you for the duration of your trip. There is no fee for this, all you need do is cover the cost of her flights and accommodation. Please enquire about this during your initial consultation. CLICK HERE to book.

Are there currently COVID related travel restrictions to or from Turkey?

From 4 July 2020, Turkey is exempt from the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) advice against all non-essential international travel. This is based on the current assessment of COVID-19 risks. All arrivals into Turkey will be subject to a medical evaluation for symptoms of coronavirus, including temperature checks. Any passengers showing symptoms including high fever, coughing or respiratory difficulties will be will be required to undergo a PCR test (a swab test – see here for details) for coronavirus. In the event that a test returns a positive result, you will be provided with medical treatment at a facility determined by the Ministry of Health or, if preferred, at a private medical facility in Turkey. You should check whether your health insurance policy includes coverage for Covid-19.

How long will do I need to stay in Istanbul?

On average we recommend clients schedule 7 nights, though this of course depends on the nature of your procedure(s). Exact timings will be confirmed following your initial consultation once we have liaised with your chosen clinic.

Could I have multiple surgeries in one trip?

It is possible to combine certain procedures, however it depends on the nature of each operation. If you are considering multiple procedures in one trip, please discuss this with Lisa during your consultation and we will confirm with your clinic if this is possible. We are also able to secure a 20% discount for any second procedure and 30% discount for the third.

What if I’m not happy with the results?

In the very unlikely event that your results do not align with the projected plan, we will liaise on your behalf with the clinic to discuss options for revision/corrective surgery.

What if I have complications once back in the UK?

Estetik International have a nurse in London’s Harley St who can assess and treat you in the unlikely circumstance you require medical intervention.

Do I need surgery-specific medical travel insurance?

Most travel insurance policies do not cover you for aesthetic procedures as standard, so for peace of mind we do recommend taking out a medical tourism policy for this. We will provide you with a list of recommended insurers during your consultation.
